This 60 minute yoga class is based on breath/movement synchronisation, alignment and an intention to listen to your body in each moment. 

It provides a systematic approach to enable an easeful and stable experience.

Katie will help you practise yoga in a way that works for you, by encouraging you to feel what is happening in your body.

This class is suitable for beginners, those returning to yoga, or looking for a safe and inclusive space to further your practice.

This fun, colourful setting will develop your child’s musicality, imagination, co-ordination & love of performance.

Fun, creative weekly dance class, aimed at children with a passion for dance! 

Along with strengthening the body and gaining technique, we will learn contemporary moves & routines alongside freestyle dance.

All of these promote co-ordination & nurturing a love of performance.

Tap Class at The Yard with Miss Julie of JMC Dance & Music.

In this class the children will get an introduction

to the fabulous art of tap dancing!

Tap dance is great for balance, coordination and rhythm whilst gaining strength in those little legs and ankles.

Plus it’s very enjoyable to make so much noise

so get your shoes on and come along to this

toe tapping fun class!

Moves and Melodies, Fridays 10.00am for 1-4yrs, taught by Miss Julie in Studio 2.

Fun, high-quality music and movement sessions for little ones and their carers.

Experiment with musical instruments, enjoy bubbles and parachute play, and sing and dance along to familiar songs with Julie and her ukulele.

Miss Julie trained professionally and gained a first class degree in Dance Performance. She teaches ballet, contemporary & tap classes here and has a Saturday school JMC Dance & Music.

She also performs all around the UK with her all singing, all dancing, all tapping act, My Favourite Things and is experienced in co-ordinating children’s parties.
